1. Development version and use at your own risk
Toweris is currently a private development build and personal experiment. It is not production software, is not intended as a public service, and is not ready for public or business-critical use.
Use Toweris only if you accept the risk of data loss, data corruption, missing records, incorrect outputs, downtime, and experimental behavior. You are responsible for keeping backups, checking exports, protecting account access, and verifying anything Toweris shows or changes.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, by using Toweris you release Toweris and its makers from responsibility for issues with your data or decisions you make based on Toweris.
2. What Toweris is
Toweris is a home and property record workspace. It helps you organize property details, documents, warranties, service notes, income, expenses, exports, and related context.
Toweris is built BYOS-first. For real account work, your portfolio and document data is stored in storage you control: Google Drive app data connected through Google sign-in.
3. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using Toweris, you agree to these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer.
If you do not agree, do not use Toweris. If you use Toweris for a household, company, trust, or another person, you are responsible for having permission to do that.
4. Accounts and security
Toweris uses Google sign-in for BYOS workspace access. You are responsible for keeping your Google account, device, browser session, and any connected assistant account secure.
Tell us if you believe your Toweris access or connected Google Drive app data has been used without permission.
5. Your data and content
You keep ownership of the property data, files, notes, uploads, and other content you add to Toweris.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload, store, share, export, or ask an assistant to process that content. Do not add content that violates someone else's rights, privacy, or the law.
Toweris may process your content only as needed to provide the app, complete actions you request, maintain security, support troubleshooting, or comply with legal obligations.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Toweris to break the law, attack the service, bypass security controls, scrape data you should not access, upload malicious files, harass others, impersonate someone, or interfere with another user's workspace.
Do not treat Toweris as an emergency, safety-monitoring, tax-filing, accounting, legal, construction, inspection, insurance, or property-management authority.
7. Google Drive and third-party services
Google sign-in and Google Drive app data are part of the current Toweris BYOS setup. Your use of those services is also governed by Google's terms and privacy practices.
If you connect Toweris to an assistant or hosted MCP client, you are responsible for the prompts you send, the permissions you approve, and the assistant provider's own terms.
8. AI and agent-assisted actions
Toweris may support agent-assisted workflows when you choose to connect an assistant. Agent output can be incomplete, stale, or wrong.
Review important changes before relying on them. Toweris is designed to keep agent changes reviewable and auditable, but review is still your responsibility.
9. Availability and changes
Toweris may change, pause, or remove features as the product evolves. We try to avoid data surprises, but you should export important records and keep your own backups.
Demo data is synthetic and local to the demo experience. It is not a promise that real data, tax outcomes, or property records will look the same.
10. No warranties
Toweris is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every property, jurisdiction, tax situation, legal need, or accounting workflow.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Toweris disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Toweris will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, property decisions, tax outcomes, or reliance on organized records.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
